Get ready for an evening of laughter and lighthearted fun as the Pioneer Tech Foundation hosts its annual fundraising dinner on April 10 at Pioneer Technology Center. This year’s event will feature a special roast of Shelley Arrott, with none other than her former colleague and successor, Superintendent Adam Leaming, taking the mic.
Leaming, who has spent his career in public education, stepped into Arrott’s role at Ponca City Public Schools (PCPS) after serving as Assistant Superintendent. Prior to that, he was CEO/President of the University Center, held leadership positions at PCPS, and has been actively involved in numerous state and local organizations, including Leadership Oklahoma and the Ponca City Chamber of Commerce.
“This is my chance to return the favor for all the ‘advice’ Shelley gave me over the years,” joked Leaming. “In all seriousness, Shelley has been a phenomenal leader and mentor, and I can’t wait to celebrate her impact with a few good-natured stories. It’s all in fun—probably.”
The Pioneer Tech Foundation Dinner is an annual fundraiser that supports student scholarships and programs. Doors open at 5:30 PM, with dinner served at 6:15 PM and the roast beginning at 7:00 PM. Tickets are limited, so be sure to secure your spot for an evening of unforgettable stories and plenty of laughs.
