Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) is pleased to recognize Gabrielle Bennett and Emily Looney as the October Students of the Month, honoring their achievements and dedication both in and outside the classroom.
Gabrielle Bennett, a senior from Blackwell High School, is thriving in the Visual Communications program, where she excels academically as a graphic design major. Gabrielle’s involvement extends beyond the classroom as a member of the softball team and a Student Ambassador. Her passion for design is evident through her volunteer work in the Visual Communications Print Shack, assisting with various projects. Gabrielle has also launched a youth sports photography business in Blackwell, showcasing her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
Emily Looney, a senior from Woodland High School, is enrolled in the Criminal Justice program. She stands out for her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and consistent participation in both classroom activities and hands-on shop work. Emily’s leadership skills shine as she takes initiative and actively supports her fellow students. Her dedication and willingness to help make her a valuable member of the PTC community.
Both students were selected by their instructors as role models for each program, and deserve recognition for Enhancing Lives and Securing Futures, including the perk of filling their Student of the Month cups with their favorite beverages at no cost for the entire month.
