FACEBOOK BUSINESS SUITE-PUTTING IT TO USE FOR YOU - April 19, 10 am - Noon at Pioneer Tech, Seminar Center West. Instructor Stephen Koranda will teach participants how to schedule and manage social media posts making your business more efficient, as well as how to maximize your engagement with the audience. This hands-on class will provide training on how to use this essential tool and help you create professional profiles, pages and groups.. Cost is $15. EXTERIOR OFFENSIVE FIRE ATTACK & STRUCTURAL FIRE SCENE SIZE UP - April 22, 8 am - 5 pm at 900 Morgan Square East in Kaw City. This course addresses the exterior offensive fire attack strategy. Students will consider the advantages and limitations of this strategy; the impact of exterior fire attacks on fire behavior; and ventilation methods and fire streams which are used with exterior offensive attacks; the course uses small group activities where students evaluate a fire scenario, determine if an exterior offensive fire attack is feasible, and then develop a strategy for making that attack. USING DiSC TO ENHANCE COMMUNICATION - May 9, 9-11 am at Pioneer Tech, Conference Center B. Communication in the workplace, or lack of communication, can make or break work teams and working relationships. Want to better understand your communication style, and understand
the cues to the style of others? This interactive course will introduce you to the Extended DiSC Profile, explain the D, i, S, and C quadrants, recognize how you best communicate naturally, and also how you shift your communication style due to stress, environment, or others. MINDFUL LEADERSHIP (HR SERIES 2023) - May 23, 10 am - Noon at Pioneer Tech, Conference Center B. This session introduces the concepts of mindful leadership and mind management.
